Summer has drawn to an end which means we must hide away our sandals and flip-flops *tear*

BUT the positive side to this is it’s an excuse to get our Autumn/Winter wardrobe stocked up!! And footwear is an important part of this process. Almost as important as the new clothing styles we’ll buy, Our footwear must change with them – Well, you wouldn’t wear your new puffy  Winter Coat with your open-toe sandals now would you? We’re here to advice you on your top A/W Footwear Must-Haves.

1) The Shoe- Boot Wedge
A handy replacement for any of you Summer wedge fans. You can stick to your favourite style of shoe but with a Winter twist. Swap the open toe for closed toe and change your colour palette. All the top high street stores begin stocking this style now and they are popular as they can be worn from day-to-night. A lot of girls opt for them for nights out as they are more comfy than your regular stiletto, which makes them perfect for ‘Date Nights’ or casual cocktails with the girls. Ladies who require a bit of height with their booties need to invest in these.

2) Ugg Boots
Okay, i know we’ve been looking at these for many years now, but ladies, Do they ever fail? You really cant beat a pair of, what is essentially outdoor slippers, am i right? They are deemed ‘Man-Repellers’ by some, but who cares when your feet are this cosy? Even if you only need them to pop to the shops on a frosty morning, or walk your kids to school, everyone needs to have a pair of Uggs at hand.

Everyday Fashion Mistakes to Avoid

Everyone knows the fashion world is constantly changing and this can only mean that the list of fashion mistakes is constantly changing as well. If you are interested in avoiding fashion faux pas this year, check out this helpful checklist below to make sure you are wearing only the hottest styles and avoiding the styles that have died out.
  • Luckily, see-through tops and bottoms are definitely out for 2008. Although many people say that less is more, this style has quickly gone from stylish and sexy to tacky and distasteful in no time at all. If you have any see-through tops or bottoms in your wardrobe today, throw them out immediately!
  • Many people make this mistake and that is wearing jeans or bottoms of any kind that are far too tight creating a belly bulge that is unnecessary. Whether you are thin or bigger, wearing pants or bottoms that are too small for you is not stylish, it is one of the biggest fashion mistakes of the century. Accepting your own size and wearing what fits you properly is the style of 2008.
  • Do you find that your pants are so long that the hems are constantly getting stuck on the bottom of your shoes? There is nothing stylish about this; in fact you are simply ruining your pants. By having your pants hemmed properly you can still have the longer length but make sure they are not catching on your shoes and dragging needlessly on the ground.
